Crafty Creations: DIY Bib Necklace

I was recently cleaning out my closet and thought of a fun way to recycle old embellished blouses into cute, crafty neckwear. Personally, I love a good statement necklace. But they can be pricy so this is a simple and inexpensive way to make a bib necklace with materials you probably already have. Check out my newest Crafty Creations video below to see how you can make the most out of your old tops:

To recap, here are the materials you will need:

  • an old blouse with an embellished neckline
  • scissors
  • ribbon
  • wire cutters
  • needle nose pliers
  • chain

If you don’t have a chain, you can just tie the ribbon onto the corners of the cutout embellishment. Just be sure to leave a little extra slack so you can tie it on.

What do you think about today’s creation? Are you going to give it a try?

If you have a fun DIY idea, leave it in the comments below. Or upload photos with each step to your LaurenConrad.com profile page for a chance to have your DIY featured on the site! To learn how to upload and submit photos, click here.
